Privacy Policy
Don't Let It Out
Effective date: October 3, 2026
This policy explains how BakerApps ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in Don't Let It Out, our Android horror game. The Android package name is com.deviousaqlord.dontletitout.
1. Information stored on your device
The game stores your chosen player name; completed and unlocked levels; high scores and per-level best scores; cumulative scores, successful taps and misses; fastest reaction time; and sound, volume, and vibration preferences. We use this information locally to save your progress, display game statistics, and remember your choices. Your player name is a local nickname, not an online account or public profile. You can use a nickname instead of your real name.
2. Information collection and sharing
The current game does not upload gameplay information, collect advertising identifiers or location, or access your contacts, camera, microphone, or photos. It has no developer-operated cloud sync or online leaderboard. We do not sell local game data or share it with advertisers or analytics providers.
3. Permissions and Android services
The game uses Android's vibration permission for optional haptic feedback. You can turn haptics off in Settings. Vibration does not collect personal information.
Android backup is enabled for the app. Depending on your device, account, and backup settings, Android or your device provider may back up or transfer app data, including your saved preferences and progress. Those services operate under their own policies and settings; BakerApps does not operate or receive those backups. Google Play and Android may also process installation and diagnostic information independently. See Google's Privacy Policy and your device provider's privacy information.
4. Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you reset or remove it. The game's Settings → Reset progress option deletes scores, statistics, and level progress, while keeping your player name and preferences. To erase all local app data, use Android's app settings to clear storage, or uninstall the game. These actions do not necessarily remove existing system backups; manage backups separately through your device or backup provider. A later restore may restore saved data.
There is no online game account to delete and no BakerApps server copy of your gameplay data.
5. Support requests and this webpage
If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to send. We use that information to respond and resolve your request. Our email service provider processes these messages on our behalf. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by contacting us below, subject to those obligations.
Opening this policy in a browser is separate from offline gameplay. Our website hosting provider may process standard request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time, to deliver and secure the website. The hosting provider also adds a website traffic and performance monitoring script to this page. That browser-based monitoring is separate from the game and does not receive your saved gameplay data. See the hosting provider's privacy policy for its website data practices.
6. Advertising and future changes
The current version does not display ads or include an advertising SDK. If a future version introduces advertising, purchases, analytics, or other data-processing features, we will update this policy and the relevant store disclosures before those features are released, and provide notices or obtain consent where required. Planned advertising is not active data collection in the current version.
7. Children's privacy
The game contains horror imagery and jump scares and is not designed for children under 13. The current game does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through a support request, please contact us so we can address it.
8. Security
Game saves use Android's app storage protections. We limit the information needed to operate the current game and do not transmit saved gameplay data to our servers. No storage or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Policy updates
We will post revisions on this page and update the effective date. Material changes to data practices will be communicated through appropriate in-app or store notices.
