We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how WatchScape watch faces and companion apps by BakerApps LLC (“WatchScape”, “we”, “us”) handle information. Our watch faces are designed to operate on-device and do not collect or sell your personal data.
Scope
This Policy applies to our Wear OS / Samsung Galaxy watch faces and any optional Android phone companion app released under BakerApps LLC or WatchScape.
Information We Collect
- Personal data: Not collected. Our watch faces do not request, collect, or transmit personally identifiable information.
- Usage analytics: Not collected by us. We do not embed third‑party analytics SDKs in the watch faces.
- Purchase data: If you buy a premium feature via Google Play Billing, Google provides us with basic purchase information (e.g., an order token and product ID) to deliver your entitlement. We do not receive your name, email, or payment card details.
- Crash/diagnostic data: Google Play and the operating system may provide anonymized crash reports and device metadata (e.g., model, OS version). We use these reports solely to fix bugs and improve performance.
On‑Device Permissions
Depending on the specific face, we may request limited system data that stays on the device and is used only to render complications:
- Time & Date (required to display time, day, and date).
- Battery Level (to show watch battery percentage).
- Step Count / Health Complications (only if you choose to add these via Wear OS complications editor; data is read and displayed locally).
How We Use Information
- Provide and customize the watch face experience.
- Process purchases and entitlements via Google Play.
- Maintain and improve stability using aggregated crash reports.
Data Sharing & Transfers
We do not sell your data. We do not share personal data with third parties. Limited information may be processed by Google as part of the Android and Google Play services you use; please review Google’s privacy policy for details.
Children’s Privacy
Our products are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
- You can uninstall the app or disable a watch face at any time.
- Complications are optional and can be removed in the Wear OS editor.
- You may request deletion of any purchase-related identifiers we store by emailing us (see Contact).
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we control. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International Users
Your app store and device manufacturer may process data in other regions according to their policies. We do not operate our own cross‑border transfers for watch face data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
